Santiago is a cosmopolitan and dynamic city with seven million inhabitants, it never rests! When you arrive, you find the Andes mountain range with its snowy peaks (in winter) and in summer the sunsets are wonderful, with the sun reflecting a pink color, I visit the Costanera Center building and its Gran Torre Santiago, which is the highest in South America with its 300 meters high, from there you have a very beautiful view, especially at sunset.
Its different neighborhoods make you feel its diversity. I recommend visiting the district (barrios) of Yungay, Lastarria and Bellavista especially at night because there are many bars and restaurants, very fun and entertaining, and its historic center with its parks and museums. This city is the capital of Chile, it has many activities that you can go according to your cultural interests.
I recommend taking the Hop on Hop off PLUS (Turistik) which includes a two-day ticket, 1 cable car ticket and 1 ticket to get off at the Cerro San Cristóbal funicular, from here you will have an incredible view of the city, with this bus you will have the opportunity to get to know the city and be able to visit the points that most interested you.
I can also advise you to visit Viña Santa Rita (forty-five minutes from Santiago) with its house full of colonial history very well-preserved, I recommend you to have lunch at Doña Paula restaurant (reservation is required), you can also visit there the Museo Andino, It contains a sample of more than 3,000 archaeological and ethnographic pieces of pre-Columbian peoples that inhabited our territory.
Enjoy Santiago and its great cultural heritage !!!
